I was born on June 30th, 1966 in Lae, New Guinea, where I lived for 16 years. In 1982 I moved to the United States, finished high school and went to college at Cal State Long Beach. In 1991 I graduated from CSULB with a BFA in Illustration.

I've had the good fortune of collaborating with many premiere artists in the comic industry, working for Marvel, Topcow,DC and others. I've done traditional and digital illustration for Image Comics, Darkhorse Comics, Mattel, Sega,TSR,Wizards of the Coast,Ace Books and many other advertising and publishing agencies.
In 2002, while continuing as a freelance illustrator, I began working fulltime in game development
I love making art with traditional media(Oil,Acrylic etc) but most of my work now is done in Photoshop and Painter. I've spent countless hours with Maya's texturing tools and have used Right Hemisphere Deeppaint extensively. I've used Maxon Bodypaint, Zbrush and am also very familiar with Unreal and its material/shader editor. I've modeled with Maya and Zbrush but do not claim to be any kind of expert!
The first game I worked on was Call of Duty:Finest Hour doing mainly texturing and storyboards.(PS2...shipped in 2004)
My first art director credit was for Legendary, developed by SparkUnlimited.(XBOX360 PS3, PC...shipped in 2008)
After 6 years I left console game development and moved to Seattle. I worked for a year at BigFishGames and shipped HiddenExpedition:Devils Triangle, as art director. (PC...2009)
In 2010, I got hired at WBGames as senior concept artist on Lord of the Rings:War in the North.
I'm still at Warner Brothers!
